This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Romelius Labs, operated by Soric Serghei, Republic of Moldova (“we”, “us”) collects through romelius.com and through the license system of our WordPress plugins, why we collect it and what rights you have.
What we collect
Purchases. Payments are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record (for example Paddle.com or Lemon Squeezy). We never see or store your card details. The reseller shares with us your name, email address, country, the plan you bought, the order number and the subscription status, so we can issue your license key, provide support and handle renewals and refunds. The reseller processes your data under its own privacy policy.
License activation. When you activate one of our plugins, your WordPress site sends us the license key (or an Envato purchase code), the website domain, the plugin version and a security token. About once a week the plugin checks its license and we update the date of the last check and the plugin version. We do not collect the content of your website, your visitors’ data or your API keys.
My Account. When you use the license portal, you enter your license details so we can show your activated domain and let you release it. Your IP address is used temporarily to limit the number of attempts.
Support form. When you contact us we receive your name, email address, the topic, your message and — if you add them — your license key and website address. We briefly record your IP address to block spam.
Server logs and cookies. Our hosting and Cloudflare keep standard technical logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. WordPress may set technical cookies when you log in or leave a comment.
Why we use your data
- To deliver what you bought: license keys, updates and support (performance of a contract).
- To prevent abuse of licenses and protect the site (legitimate interest).
- To keep records required for accounting and tax purposes (legal obligation).
We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails without your consent. Important messages about your license, renewals and security updates may be sent to you.
Who receives your data
- Our payment reseller (Merchant of Record) for orders, invoices, taxes and refunds.
- Our hosting provider and Cloudflare, which deliver and protect the website.
- Envato, only when you activate with an Envato purchase code, to verify it.
- Our email provider, to send license and support emails.
How long we keep it
License and order records are kept while your license exists and for the period required by tax law afterwards. Support messages are kept for up to 3 years. Rate-limit records expire automatically within hours.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to its use, by writing to support@romelius.com. If you are in the European Union you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
